Bit silly question perhaps but....I have this great SD pickup but don't know if it's an Ant or 59. Funny thing is: I found it in a drawer and remember experimenting hooking up different coils from different pickups...so I kinda confused myself here :)
Some specs:

Well this might be exactly what I was looking for to go into a Les Paul:
I made 2 Hybrids out of a '59 bridge (wax potted AV) and an Antiquity bridge (non wax-pottted, degaussed AII)
My favourite is the one with the screw coils of the Ant with the degaussed AII magnet of the Antiquity pickup...
Can someone describe the main tonal differences between those 2 pickups?
I'm planning of putting a set in a Les Paul.
My Les Paul has a Neck Antiquity already but somehow those ant's sound a little bit to clean for my taste.
Thanks
Anyone tried wiring a PAF like pickup (SD '59) parellel in a Les Paul type guitar?
Some say a parellel wired humbucker indeed sounds somewhat more single coil like. Could be nice!!!!
Here's what I found on the net:
PARALLEL WIRING
Parallel wiring connects the coils of a humbucker like two...
Anyone tried to combine a 59 coil with an Ant, bridge position A5?
I really dig the openess of the Ants but also like the raw power of a 59. Should make an intresting match wouldn't it?
I like the 59 bridge VERY much. I've had Ant's, Hybrid, EVH, Curtom SD's but the 59 sounds the best. Anyway; any users here of the Voodoo pickups?
How would you rate them against the good ole '59?
I have a Hybrid (custom and 59 'screw' coil, AII) , rated at 11,25 Kohm. Still a bit to much output for my taste. Now I would like to lower the output to, let's say 7 or 8 Kohm. Is it 'save' to remove some wire yourself? Or is there a great change I will ruin the pickup?

Feel free to comments guys!
I think of replacing the 'aged' magnet of my Antiquity bridge pickup with a full A5...
Questions:
* Will this make some sort of '59 pickup?
* What will be the tonal difference?
Thanks for answering!
