I have wired my 335 clone according to the gibson website. I don't understand why when the switch is in the middle position, turning down the neck vol pot reduces the overall vol. I would expect just the neck level to decrease, leaving more treble pu vol. Any ideas? Rut

Hi, I have a 335 Washburn copy with a SD antiquities in neck, gibson pro paf in bridge. 500K pots for vol (2). The controls don't seem to have much control over the volume. Between 10 and 0 there isn't much decrease in sound. You can't really control your amp vol using the guitar vol compared...

Does anyone know a cure for this? When I back the vol back on the instrument the highs go away. I have a fix for a single coil but not humbuckers. Also, using 500k pots don't seem to have a lot of control over the volume. Thanks, Rut
