In my searching around for amp/cab stuff I've noticed that cabinets are just about always made of wood. Guitar neck technology has evolved a bit with the advent of carbon composites...would cabinets benefit from the same? Would resonance be affected in a positive manner? Just curious.

Will painting over exposed coil pickups affect the sound or function in any way? Just curious.

I'm considering putting a JB Jr. and a lil Screamin' Demon in a custom build and was wondering how the single sized versions compared to the full sized versions. Anyone have any experience in this area? Thanks.
