How much of a difference would it make if i switched from a line 6 spider 2x10 to a peavey valveking 2x12? Would it be worth it to sell my spider for $200-300, and buy the Valveking? I gig alot so it wont just be a bedroom amp thanks

It's missing the trussrod cover. I was wondering if I could simply buy one and screw it on, or would I have to adjust something to make the guitar play right. I have no experience with trussrods. HEre is a picture of it
