Should Surface Mount Mini Pedals Cost So Much?

I'm not going to pay the same or more for a One Control Red Raspberry Tart Fart as for a Marvel Drive or a J Rocket 45 Caliber. At least Exotic has a little lower prices... I am no expert... but I imagine they can crank out these little surface mount pedals at a fraction of cost.

    '79 Antigua dilemma...

I bought this guitar new in 1979... I purchased this particular guitar because it was the best sounding Strat in the shop, not because I cared for the finish (at all) Even though I sold the "Ten Ton Body" years ago... I feel like I want to keep all the serial numbered parts together... Neck...

    1982 Fender 57 RI Red Bobbin PU's

Hey everyone... I have a pair (2) 1982 Fullerton Fender "57" RI Red Bobbin PU's listed on eBay. These are originally mine from a Two Tone "57" RI Strat, that I eventually sold way back in 1991. Where is the third pickup? Good question... I wish I knew... I sold this Strat because the neck...

    1982 Fender 57 RI Red Bobbin PU's

I've got a pair of these... I have seen some crazy asking prices for them online. Like a grand for a trio... I'm not into that... What should I realistically ask for these? For a pair? Together start them at $400? ($200 each)???? Where is third one? I don't know... I do remember owning the...

    Open-back Cabinet Madness... Help!

In all my many years of playing... I know I have sometimes used an open back combo amp. But I guess I always / or more often than not had a closed back on stage also... Surprising pot values in PRS DGT

While investigating brightening up the neck pickup on my 2008 PRS David Grissom after switching to an open-back 2x12 I discovered they have a new coil tap MOD on the newer models... So, while I was rewiring my guitar I checked the value of the components... Holy Cr@p Batman! These pots in this...

Looking for affirmation... JTM45 all controls on "10"

So, I have had to switch to an open back 2x12... from my beloved 4x12... w/ Greenbacks. I have really been fighting to get my tone... I used to run everything pretty standard. Bass 1to3, Mids 4to5, Treble 6to7, no pressence. Humbuckers... After trying every combination of speakers and...

Series or Parallel? Yes, indeed there is a difference!

Like many of us... I have always used a 4x12... I'm used to it and I love it. And quite honestly, It was always easier to push a 4x12 in, you have the height, you don't need chairs, lifting etc... Well, times have changed, haven't they? People don't know what to think of a 4x12... It's fu@king...

After years of Custom Vox EL84 style designs...

After all these years of Vox AC15 style EL84 custom amp designs by Matchless, Dr. Z, Bad Cat, Weber, Ceriatone... etc... THIS is the design I have always wanted... I don't know a thing about this company or the build, voicing or sound... But this very basic design of 2 channels with just a...

    Biyang RV-8 and TR-8 review

Well, I had to try them... I am no fan of Chinese policies, slave labor etc... But I suppose every tone seeker has his price, and mine was about 50 bucks apiece. Especially when all other options run several hundreds of $$$$ for both, no matter what you buy. Everything about these pedals was...
