Ok. I just made the mistake of ordering a Duncan Custom Trembucker and finding out after 21-days that it's too wide to fit through the pickguard bridge cutout of an American Standard Strat (H/S/S). Want to make sure everything fits going forward before I place any orders.

Will an EVH Wolfgang install into the bridge of a typical Fender Strat without modification? I guess I mean will the pickguard mounting holes line up with the pickup, etc? Since the Wolfgang has rounded ears on the baseplate with 3 holes I wasn't sure if they would line up.

I just got an ESP E-II Vintage Black from Sweetwater that comes with the gold covered EMG 81/60s. I'm really not liking how bright and jangley these pickups are sounding compared to my M-II with the black plastic EMGs. Are the gold pickup covers causing this brightness? Surely it's not the...
