    Hey, for a nickle covered p/u, what are the tonal differences between using tape and getting the p/u wax potted? Will was potting 'dull' the p/u more than using tape?

    bridge p/u to go with an APH1

    Hey, I'm looking for a bridge p/u to go with an APH1 in a PRS Tremonti SE. The guitar is all mohogany, but is sort of thin and quite light (my strat is heavier). at the moment i find the highs of my stock p/u too harsh. i'm lookin for a sort of PAF sound, with smooth singin highs. thanks

    Bridge Pickup for The Darkness sound?

    Hiya, I'm looking to upgrade the bridge pickup in a PRS Tremonti SE (mahog with rosewood finger). I'm aiming for a The Darkness sorta sound. I love the Friday Night tone. I'm currently looking at the SD Custom Custom, but any other suggestions would be great. Cheers
