WTB: Seymour Duncan '59 Bridge Pickup

I'm looking for a Duncan '59 bridge pickup. Any color would be fine. Must be regular spaced and not F spaced.

    NGD

This is the first guitar I've purchased in quite some time. I first played one of these over ten years ago and I've been searching for one ever since! It's a 1981 Guild, X-79 Skyhawk. I bought it as a present to myself for my 50th birthday. The first few X-79's made have the traditional...

    Telecaster's Need Two Tone Knobs

I've thought for years that the biggest flaw with the Telecaster is the single tone knob. To me, the tone difference between the neck and bridge pickup is so drastic that they need their own tone knobs. Every time that I move the switch I have to adjust the tone knob too. I love my vintage...

    WTB: Gibson 498t Pickup

I'm looking for a Gibson 498t bridge pickup. I'd prefer one with a gold cover, or no cover.

    Mystery Oversized Pickup Mounting Ring

I have a pickup ring that is larger than the average humbucker ring. It's length across is just slightly wider. The width is about 1/4" wider than a standard pickup ring. Doesn't anyone have any idea what it might fit? The crème ring is a standard issue DiMarzio ring.

    Pearly Gates Question

I recently bought a guitar with a Seymour Duncan, Pearly Gates model number PGBL. The pickup is in the neck position, but I think it is a bridge position model. Is this a bridge pickup? What does the L stand for?

    G&L, 80's Era Super Strats

It's been a damp, cool and foggy weekend here in Missouri. Since I can't do much outside, I got some guitars out that I don't play very often. I've been having fun this weekend with my two G&L super strat's. The red one is an '85 Rampage that I restored. The purple & black guitar is an...

    Pickup Repair

The neck pickup in my '74 Telecaster has gone bad. I know Lindy Fralin does repair. Jason Lollar's website says that they are currently not doing pickup repairs. Besides, Fralin is there any other repair shops that I should consider?

    NGD x 3

I have added 3 rare 80's era G&L's to my collection. The top guitar is an '88 Asat in a very low production purple color. The bottom guitar is an '86 Asat that's equipped with a Kahler. The '86 is built with left over G&L, Broadcaster parts. The third guitar is an '88 G&L...

Seymour Duncan Pickups with Black Backs

I recently acquired a couple of used Seymour Duncan humbuckers for my G&L, Invader. The back side of the pickups are painted black instead of the natural metal finish that I'm use to seeing. What's the deal with the black painted backs? The pickups are a '59 neck and a Pearly Gates bridge.

I Need Help Identifying A Seymour Duncan Pickup

This pickup was installed in the middle position of a G&L, Interceptor that I just received. I'm going to restore it back to original. I'm not familiar with Duncan active pickups and there isn't a model number on it. Here are some pictures of it: Any and all help will be greatly...

    NGD

1996 G&L, Asat Deluxe. The body is mahogany with a flame maple top. The pickups are Seymour Duncan, 59 neck and JB bridge. I'm not a fan of the JB and I'll be replacing it with something with a little less output.

    NG&LD

I've had the guitar for two months. I finally got around to taking pictures yesterday. It's a '93 G&L, Asat Classic that is in like new condition. The guitar doesn't have a blemish on it anywhere! The guitar sounds great through my '71 Princeton Reverb amp! I like the tone of the...
