Just making sure, but for a guitar with a reverse headstock (Jackson and ESP for example), I should be looking for left handed 6 in line tuners, right? Or do they use the regular right handed ones?

Obviously, it all comes down to technique, but do the lighter gauges (such as 9 gauge) help the ease of pinch harmonics and tapping, and do they "sing" more? I'm using 10 gauges and they work fine for me, but I was wondering if switching to a lighter gauge would enhance them.
