I'm looking for a versatile bridge pickup for my Gibson Explorer. I need something that can do everything from classic rock to metal. I was considering the SH-6, but after some research it sounds like it may be too aggressive. Then there is always the JB, which is versatile and I have tried...

I have a Gibson SG Faded and I would like to put a Duncan Distortion in it. Should I get the SH-6 or TB-6? I would think regular spacing...but I recently put a DiMarzio pickup in my Les Paul Custom and I was told to get F-spaced...and it matched up with the poles perfectly. Thanks!

So I'm a big Down and COC fan. I noticed both Pepper and Woody use Invaders in their ESP SG style guitars. Pepper also uses them in Down. I love their tone...but I've heard so many bad things about the Invader like do not put them in mahagony guitars, and do not down tune with them...yet both...
