I am an older male guitar player I just recently went back to playing electric again after many years I have been playing acoustics for all this time I bought my first strat in December 2025 as I have never owned one I couldn't afford one when I was younger I had a 3 electric guitars back then the best one I had was an Ibanez but I can't really remember the model as It was so long ago I currently have 4 acoustic guitars a new Gibson Montana J45 standard a Taylor GTe urban ash a Taylor 117e Grand Pacific and a California series 12 string acoustic When I purchased the Fender performer Statocaster I asked the guitar Tech to install a Seymour Duncan SSL5 custom pickup in the bridge my Fender sounds absolutely amazing the SSL5 works really well with my Yosemite middle and neck pickups I am really happy with the SSL5 custom pickup they just sound so good and I also love the push pull Greasebucket circuit on my Fender performer that is why I chose this particular Fender model and I love USA made guitars
