Part II (limitation on posts): I would kinda wish to get some musical education myself.. props to you for pursuing it! Sounds like fun, indeed. Yeah, the laziness can be such an enemy, I know it for sure.. I find that the more you involve yourself into something, the more difficult it is to allow yourself to be lazy - you just don't wanna miss out on something, kinda.. It's hard to turn around in the beginning, but after a while, it's second nature.

I'm doing Business Management, so I'm finished with my bachelor this spring. I will have a year or two in between, and then I'm onto the masters. I'm quite positive I've entered the right path.

Yeah, it's expensive, but you can get around. I guess it should be possible to live cheap here for a while too!

Yeah, the AxeFX is definitely very powerful! I bought the Standard, and while I would love to have the Ultra, I think I would just familiarize myself with the complexity of the Standard to begin with, and possibly opt for the Ultra in the future.. Yeah, the finger sucks right now.. I have been feeling it for nearly a year now, I think, and I hoped the break from playing in Hawai'i would alleviate the problem, but to no avail, it seems.. I might improve my fingerpicking skills, and the bass playing, though; it doesn't seem to be so painful if I stay away from the pick, so it's not all dark, yet.

Ohh, you really need to go skiing! There's little that is as good as that. Yeah, skiing in Norway ain't bad, but if you're going to ski in the resorts, be prepared to pay, because it's expensive there.

The AxeFX is really impressive! I've barely touched the surface, but I'm looking forward to getting to know it better. The thing that limits me is what I suspect is a carpal tunnel syndrome in the last joint of my pointing finger - probably due to funk strumming. Bummer. I hope I can figure it out soon!

Yeah, happy new year to you as well!

I have had a terrific time this week - rented a cabin with friends and skiing and stuff. Cold though - yesterday, it was -30C in the town I was in, and that's pretty much sixty degrees colder than what I have been used to this fall. But I rather like it for the winter. Much, much better than plus degrees where snow melts.

Google translation tells me that "Jenseits von Gut und Böse" is the book 'Beyond Good and Evil'... that's a good one to start with. I don't know what "Aphorismen" is.

Once you've read 'Beyond Good and Evil', i would recommend 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra'. It's a far more dramatic book, and it's a story rather than a straight up philosophy text. This means it more interesting, and it's good to see how Nietzsche's philosophy fits into a lifestyle... one of my favourite quotes from that book is;

"New Domestic Animals. I want to have my lion and my eagle about me, that I may always have hints and premonitions concerning the amount of my strength or weakness. Must I look down on them today, and be afraid of them? And will the hour come once more when they will look up to me, and tremble?"

I'm doing alright man. I wasn't there for new years, i was gonna go but couldn't get the time off work, bummer. For sure i'll let you know when i'm next out there, probably around July by the looks of things... might base myself in Noordwijk, went there before and it was a nice chilled place but it was the middle of winter so it was empty and freezing!

Hahah, nicht so schlimm, da ich sehr viel probleme haben konnte die gitarre nach frankreich zu bringen, und jetzt muss es geschickt werden zuahahah.

Hab extrem viel zu tun hier, Joanna hat eine suppa arbeitsplatz in St.Tropez gekrigt, und ich bin immer noch beim lehrlauf bis naechste woche. Das wetter ist traumhaft (heute 22 grad, sonnig) und ich fuehl mich gut. In Dezember 22 bin ich in Berlin, In 23. in Schroda Polen, Und am 28 wieder in Berlin. Danach fliege ich hier her zurueck und komme am 15 januar wieder. Die fluege sind sehr billig grad, deswegen kann ich so of hin und her LOL.

In 2 wochen wird es klar wo und wie ich wohne, dqn koennen wir uns diesmal hier treffen. Du kannst relativ billig fliegen, und das wetter ist ganz selten schlecht!

Die gitarre hatte viele fehler, deswegen habe ich sie den selben tag zurück geschikt! (Joannas bruder hatte es abgeholt, und zurück gefahren).

Also es fült sich sehr solide an, die bünde waren supper, aber die lackierung war katastrophal, zu hohe action, falsche seiten und falsche stimmung. Und Falsche farbe. Naja, nachdem sie probiert haben das alles gut war, hab ich die fotos gezeigt und es war klar dass man dagegen nichst sagen kann.
Jetzt sagen sie dass ise es nict so hinkriegen können wie ich es mir gewünscht habe (nach dem sie mir es geschikt haben....). Jetz kriegt sie warscheinlich eine zebrano decke, wenn die farbe aus den poren sich entfernen lässt. Wenn nicht, muss ich eine andere farbe wählen. Und ich weiss nicht was .Vielleicht wieder feuerwehr rot, oder etwas ähnliches.
