You may be right but I find if you want sweet vintage tone it’s a must to go with the paisley cloth straps, nothing too wide that has modern tone. The super skinny ones sound a bit too 50’s, but I digress.

I agree the STK -7 is a really good bridge pickup. One of my faves though is a CR neck pickup that I put in the bridge on a whim and it’s great, sounds a bit like the Dimarzio chopper. But my personal fave might be the Fury, love it. My second fave believe it or not is a Lace sensor blue.

The double crème thing is as a dick move but stealing from Kinnman and then suing him on top of it was flat out shitty. Kinnman didn’t get his affairs in order for sure but it a was a still shitty. That being said I have a few Dimarzio and have had many others throughout the years.

​I have been pondering the Lil 78 for a while and is there any users digging them and how do they compare to other Strat size buckers and would one in the bridge mesh well with other pickups? . Currently rockin ( Bridge position of various guitars ) a Lil 59, Cool rails, Fury, Stk s 7, Stk s9...

I had a thing for the Ice man back in the day, had one like this. Had 2 at one point. Had a Dean Hollywood back in the 80's too.

I guess I expected at least a zz0.z3hmx3mnhhbzz But I am liking this pickup more and more, the longer I use it.

So I descided to try the Hot Chicken in the neck spot of the Strat that I have the YJM Fury in the bridge. I had been using a Fender Vintage noiseless in that spot, and actully got on with it just fine, but did find it maybe a bit too smooth perhaps and felt as though it was not the right match...

I reach for this one the most for sure.
