I picked up a '59n used and it measures 8.1k on my multimeter...that seems quite high, doesn't it? Is that within the normal deviation of these pickups?

I'm considering buying a used pickup for my Les Paul bridge, and I'd like to know if it has enough lead...how short is too short?

If I tried to use an Antiquity II Surfer Custom Bridge pickup with Fender Custom Shop '69 neck and middle pickups, would I have phase problems? If so, would switching the black and white wires on the bridge pickup be recommended? The CS '69 middle pickup is not RWRP.

What have you used and what do you prefer? I just switched to .022 uF and I haven't made up my mind if I like it. Isn't .1 uF the proper value for 50's and 60's style pickups, and .047 uF was used in the 70's? Anyone using two different caps, one for each pot?
