both humbuckers in my Les Paul on at all times ,switch doesn't "work" also noisy..any ideas?

...anyone out there have a pair besides me? what is the Duncan model they're based on? what Ibanez model where they on? i love 'em in my LP but I broke off a lug on the neck pup so i gotta get a new backing plate.....
