Born n raised in VA, and never left. 35 years old. Awesome Wife, who is also my best friend, and doesn't just tolerate my musical journey but loves being a part of it. 6 kids who are mostly hard headed and whom we often attempt not to claim in public. But we actually love them all more than life itself. We had them all wear helmets EVERYWHERE until each of them realized in their own time that we were full of @%$# and they weren't necessary. It was ALOT more fun with the 1st two!! I started playing guitar at the age of 12, and it has been a part of me, and a part of my life ever since. Played in a band with some buddy's in High School, but it's always just been the thing I do with ALL my free time since then. My wife spends time with me in my garage and tells me when I'm playing well or when I suck, and helps me out if I create a riff or jam, but need help piecing it together or making it whole. My best buddy since childhood (was the drummer in our High School band) brings his family and the drums over sometimes to hang out with us and jam. Those times when our families are in the same place, and we get to make loud music together are the very BEST moments we are blessed to experience in this crazy thing we call LIFE. We love God, our Family, our Friends, our Neighbor(s), and our COUNTRY!! And we are eternally grateful to all the countless service men and women, who have, and still do serve and protect this beautiful Nation we are blessed to call HOME, and who put up their lives and too often GIVE their lives to ensure that EVERYONE who calls this nation HOME, is able to live in the precious FREEDOM we all hold dear in our hearts. We thank ALL of you for your service, and keep you and your families in our prayers always...

P.S.-Just to put it out there for those who may be a bit lacking in the humor department.... The thing about the helmets was just a joke!.... Although it may have done some good thinking back now!

Duncan Pups I Have Experience With...
I've used SD pickups in more guitars than I can think of! Right now I have Invaders in the only guitar of mine I've actually been using anymore.

I've used.....
-Invaders. SH-8b & SH-8n (bridge and neck)
- JB SH-4
- '59. SH-1n (neck)
- Jazz. SH-2 & SH-2n (bridge and neck)
- Distortion SH-6b (bridge)
- Custom 5. SH-14 (bridge)

EMG's are another favorite of mine, and I've had loads of enjoyable experience with them as well.... (81, 85, 60, 57, 66, and the Het-Set are all magnifacent pickups if you dig actives.... But if I'm going to buy a PASSIVE Pickup, it's going to be a Seymour Duncan, HANDS DOWN!! I simply wouldn't chance my money ANYWHERE else...
