I've noticed some of my frets on my maple neck telecaster appear to be flaking. It feels rough when I run my fingers over the side of them. Anyine have any experience with this?

I have just installed one of these coolrails in the neck of may telecaster with a hotrails in the bridge. Quite nice! It pairs well! It doesn't seem to have the chime of the Jazz neck that I had hoped. Clear and articulate though!
