Does anybody know anything about winding pickups where the bobbin is stationary and the wire is wrapped around and indexed for level wind? TJW

I have a 1965 Silvertone 1748 bobcat, the pickguard is humped up in the middle. Can it be flatened.

The coils in old tube radios were all coated with either varnish, shellac or wax during the winding process, after setting coils are firm and hold shape. Any feedback on doing this with pickups?

I saw an ad for a "Bracebar", it is two pointed metal rods and a plate with tapped holes. When inside the body and screwed together the rods embed into the neck and back block. The plate is slid under the bridge and two screws from the top of the bridge thread into the plate and transfer a lot...

I have modern equivalent rubber magnets for gold foil pickups. It is 3/16" ( 0.187") thick and available in any size you need. The size for a pickup is 1/2" ( 0.500") X 3" Reply if interested. Ted

Anyone interested in purchasing modern equivalent rubber magnets for gold foils. They are 0.187" X 3.0" X 0 .50" with the holes on 1 .125" center to center. or any variation of length and with. I needed some but could only buy a full run so I have lots in any size.
