So I'm not familiar with how the Jazz lightnin' rods are powered, but my flexcore pre-amp has an "active pickup" jumper and a "battery (+)" terminal for a wire. So will my pre-amp power these pickups for would I need to make yet another cavity for a battery? It's getting crowded under there..
