I notice there are images out there of PK's esp viper guitars that were more gibson sg traditional in appearance. Were those in production at any point? or are they custom shop items?

Looking to do a red stain, and thought it would be pretty cool to have a black grain to contrast. I looked into that 'varathane' stuff, but I read pretty poor reviews on it and I thought to forget about that idea unless anyone has a good suggestion with this. -thanks.
