Hey Sent, how's things? I noticed you were asking about a neck pickup to go with a handwound pickup. I presume you are talking about the Habs? Don't like the neck pickup mate? MMMM, well if it were me I'd be using the ole Duncan 59. I love that pickup in the neck of a Lester, especially for lead work. I myself would personally love to try an Alnico II pro in the neck of one of mine. By the way mate, love the pic, rock on.

Sorry mate, nicked off for a bite to eat. My Laney's, I love em. I've got a GH50L which is sort of like a suped up JCM800. It really does the hard rock and metal stuff with ease. The Lionheart is compared with a Vox. I never played a vox amp though mate. The Lionheart is more on the vintage side but does have plenty of gain for hard rock. Obviously depends on what you slam the front of the amp with too. I really like the EL84 powers. If you ever had a chance to chq out a Lionheart, it would certainly be worth a look anyway. IMO under rated amp mainly due to the name. I'd actually love to try a throughing a set of EMG's at the Lionheart. I reckon it would rooooooar! Talk to you soon mate.

Yeh pretty good mate. I did however had to ship my Laney Lionheart head off for repairs yesterday. Luckily though, no cost to me. I think there is maybe solder issues in relation to the power tubes. It started to sort of fade in and out. Annoying but again lucky I don't have to pay for the repair.

I bet you're just chompin at the bit to get that new axe mate. I'll be expecting a youtube vid once you've had a bit of time with her.

Certainly understand mate. That whole thing was/is a frigging joke to say the least. Good to have a friendly face her anyways. I suppose I just enjoy the change of pace here. It's just different ya know. Anyways, I may start spending a bit more time around here myself. Although I really enjoy many of the MLP members, the Admin and Mod politics where's a bit thin sometimes. Hope all is well with ya anyway.
