What are the diameters of the various rod magnet poles out there? Strat, Tele, Precision, Jazz, etc. how about the various humbucker ones? Slug, allen screw, slotted, etc. I think that this info would be useful, and if you could link me or explain it, I'd really appreciate it.

That might really improve the dynamics and open it up some. nice pickup, but it can be a little boxy and pretty compressed. I almost asked about the Super 3, but with that high of an impedence and inductance rating, I think any attempts to 'open it up' might just F it up.

Arethese pickups standard wired in series or parallel? If series, is there a noticeable difference in tone parallel? I'm looking to wire these into a guitar for stereo outs for high/low strings.

I'm thinking Alnico Pro II, original trembucker(that IS different from the parallel Axis, correct?), or DiMarzio Air Zone. All very differnt pickups, but all tones I think I'd like. The AZ would give ultimate BOOM, the OTB would give good THUNK, the APT a more open THOOM. Opinions?
