started playing guitar to get the nerd image off me which was very uncool in the late 60's
was a rebel in HS
managed to get into GA Tech and eek out an EE degree, almost flunked out playing in the GA Tech Jazz Ensemble because I took it too seriously and didn't realize how hard GA Tech was, especially back in those days. Passed GA professional Engineer Exam in 87 and was awarded PE License in 88. 8 years later went back and took more classes and nearly completed a 2nd degree in CS but having missed registration on Jan2 one year, I decided I had enough rather that have to jump thru all the hoops to get back in again.
