    What do you guys think for a Gibson LP? I play metal and the DD was allot of sizzle and lost a bit of thump.

    High Gain Meas Amp- Duncan Distortion Or Duncan Alt 8

    I just installed a Ducand Distortion on my 2011 Gibson Les paul custom. Nice gain and sizzle but lost my LOW END THUMP. I play a High Gain Meas Amp-I called Symour and they said go with the Duncan Alt 8. What do you guys think?:onder:

    Gibson Les Paul And Metal Pickup ?

    Hello, This is my first post and I normally use Gibson pickups but I want to try a duccan. I play metal I installed a Duncan Distorition it sounds good but I lost my low end thump. Whats a good pickup? :headbang:
