I got a JB installed a while back in my Gibson SG Standard...and I find i have less sustain than i had with my standard alnico humbucker....is there something i can adjust to make it better..or should i take it back to where i got the pickup installed and ask them to make adjustments..or is it...

Pretty much what the topic says, the bright sound is not bad at all except when you are doing rhythm parts, and its way too bright and needs to be a little bassier...i can turn the bass on my amp up all the way and it's still bright..

Ok when the music shop installed it...btw i have a 2004 SG Standard, and my measurements on the height from the top of the JB to the strings..are like half an inch, isnt this a little low for a bridge pickup to be sitting? just wondering :smack:
