Coupla Qs about the Duncan classic stack liberator pickguard

Does the 2nd tone knob control the bridge pickup tone? If not, can it be modded to do so easily? When the coils are split, do positions 2 and 4 still cancel hum?

hey there, Mr Artie (and others) ... quick Q for ya ...

consider a tapped single coil pickup, say 7K on the tap and 13K full out. would a blender pot combining the tapped signal and the full output signal produce a range of tones? i know it is not quite the same as 'spin a split' as with a double coil pickup, but i can't quite suss out for myself...

    is this idea totally unworkable?

so i am seeing these 9 string guitars typically associated with heavy gain / high distortion / crushingly brutalz modern music and they got me wondering about potential pickups for these guitars that could be appropriate for *non* heavy music would it be possible to have one pickup optimized...

opinions welcome on a strat wiring idea ...

i have become quite happily addicted to using the 2 volume knobs on my H-H (2T/2T) guitar to make the volume/gain switching between lead/rhythm parts as simple as flicking the 3-way switch so much so that when i play my EJ strat, S-S-S (1V / 2T), i miss the convenience so i am considering (3)...

is this a sign of tubes getting ready to need changin' ?

i generally like the tone of my modded BluesJr - i dont *love* it as the end all and be all of tone, but it is quite versatile and satisfying enough with both my EJ strat and my PRS SC245 ... but when gigging (i.e. louder than rehearsals) i notice that my tone becomes really unpleasing in the...

it seams that the hook and eye bond is greater than the glue bond that secures the tape to the pedals on my board when i remove the pedals, the tape stays on the carpet material of the board and separates from the pedal any good suggestions on what tape to use so as to have it hold onto to the...
