I've read the history of this pickup already. Is it just a little hotter PAF? If you ordered a Seth or PG at 9k would it essentially sound the same? What I'm getting at is it good for a little stronger PAF sound not necessarily VH tone?

I'm looking for some pickups for an ash tele with maple neck that will get me in zeppelin land. I know a traditional early tele pickup was probably originally used but I'm not a studio genius and I need some pups that will cover a broader range of zep not just zep I. A tall order probably...
