    59 neck eith A4 or no A4 in a Strat pickguard

    I have a 59 neck model in a Strat pickguard in the neck position. The body wood is Alder, and neck is Maple,with Rosewood fingerboard.     How would a swap to an Alnico 8 magnet affect the gain and the tone of an SH-14 Custom 5? Would an Alnico II benefit from an Alnico V magnet swapped into it? Is an SH-14 Custom 5 suited to a Korina bodied Epiphone Explorer? Has anyone experimented with these particular combinations? Thanks.
