Well, these things are always awkward, but okay lets do it.
So, I'm a 21 year old architecture/engineering student at Georgia Tech. I've played guitar since I was 9, and started tinkering with them around the age of 14. This unguided, disgusting display of amateurism turned into somewhat of a passion. Eventually, I landed an apprenticeship with a luthier in atlanta (no names will be mentioned, he turned out to be a pretty big scumbag who ripped off customers and did shoddy work,) worked as the in house tech at a music store, and as a carpenter for my dads contracting company. And now I've landed myself a horrible, horrible job at a grocery store. So now, my main hobby and interests all revolve around guitar gear: pedals, electric guitars, pickups, tube amps, etc. The main reason I joined here was to inquire about a pickup wiring diagram, and to enjoy the fellow company of gear heads.
Guitar is currently the only thing keeping me sane.
