    Need a new pup combo....any help?

    I have an LP Standard that I want to replace the stock pup's in. Any suggestions? I tend to play more of the heavier music. Brainstorm, Iced Earth,that type of stuff.

    need some advice on a new pup combo

    I loaded my lp customs with distortion in the bridge and left the 59 in the neck and I really like this set up. Now, I have an lp standard that I want to change the stock pup's in. I need a good combo that will give me some scream when I want it and some quiet time.

    It looks like the distortion is the way to go

    I would like to thank everyone for their the input on my quest to get a tone close to Zakk's with out going to emgs. Both my LP customs are going to be loaded with distortions and I'm getting the dunlop pedal he uses also. I already own 2 jcm 800 heads with 2 4x12 cabs. So in closing, again...

    Trying for Zakks tone

    I'm trying to get a Zakk like tone without going to Emg's. All my LP Custom's are set up with sd 59's and sd customs. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
