i have a black Korina Tele, with a Fender scale maple neck and ebony board. It doesn't sound like a LP or SG, it does its own thing. Keep in mind that a Tele body is much thicker than an SG.

Yes, it is a neck-through Warwick Thumb, German and all. I should just sell all my other basses.

I did those with a hand router. Worked out, even an angle change on a neck pocket.

I use the dime system, as in how many 10-cent pieces. 2 for bridge humbuckers, 3 for neck. If I move back to Europe I'll need to do some currency smuggling.
