i'm noticing the more i check out guitars at the store, the more i like the one i have, which is an Ibanez GSA-60 it's a run-of-the-mill guitar, nameless pickups, agathis body, no-name tuners, cheap trem system, all that jazz.... but it sounds really shreddy, yet clear, i really like it...

now i'm finding out about makers like fralin and bare knuckles, and loving their stuff too! now there's emg, SD, dimarzio, bill lawrence, all the commoners... and suddenly little-knowns and far-'n-wides like fralins or bare knuckles, and they sound wicked too??? scheiße, so lost now... please...

finally got a decent test done at a guitar shop, and i came to a conclusion i like the sound of an emg 81/60 combo, but i wanna avoid it.... very costly and cliche so the pumped snarly bottom end of a slap bass, top end scream like a dimebucker but with only mildly scooped mids to keep each note...
