i never had a new Gibson before and decided to finally stop stalling and bought a 2013 SG Standard.. I love SG's feel and tone... but after spending a few weeks with this guitar it makes me a little nervous as it's basic design means there is not a lot of wood around the neck/body joint...

i bought a used Marshall TSL 100 years ago and have used it very little... the footswitch i never used until tonight... i can't get the footswitch to turn on the clean channel... the light on the footswitch comes on but the amp stays on Crunch.... from what i've found poking around the net...

can fine scratches be removed from plastic pickguard material? i was working on a friends PRS SE import and dropped his back spring cover... didn't see it and stepped on it... it's in one piece but there is a few fine scratches on it... can i buff it out somehow or should i save the bother...

i'm wondering if i'll like a JBjr since i like the full size JB... the JR would be going in a bright vintage reissue strat... according to the tone chart the I'l Screaming Demon has more bass resonse then the JBjr, but less mids... even the Flury pickups have my eye but they seem super hot!

i have a Pete Townshend SG Special from the 2000/01 era run.... great guitar and i love it as is... plan to keep it stock as it's sopposed to be the specs Pete used during the Leeds era... but just being curious i was looking at replacement warp around bridges with improved adjustable...

i've been hearing from some Youtube clips that the solid body guitar most important part for tone is the wood in the neck... more important then the body wood.... Robert Godin believes this to be true.... so i wonder if you try to improve a dead sounding strat by using a new neck would it...

i've noticed my C30 can fade in volume from time to time... just seems to get weak sounding suddenly and then returns to normal... i notice sometimes it is right after i really push it with a fuzz pedal for solos, when i turn the pedal off the amp sometimes is weak, then returns back to normal...

is it me or does it seem wrong that the new 2012 American Standard Tele model Fender has issued has a Tummy Cut... it looks ugly...

I have been surprised by the tones coming out of the Fender Mustang modeler amps... i'm normally not a modeler guy but i can't agnore how great i find the tones in these cheap things... and the price is killer.... but there is 3 different set ups i'm toying with and not sure which way to...

i have been looking at getting some pedals that will turn the average Blackface Fender clean into a Marshall like sound for a while now... i tried some expensive pedals... i tried the more common ones... ended up liking a Boss Power Stack the best... i'm kind of surprised how well it does...

Boy the timing could not be better on the prewired SD Pickguards... the Everything Axe set will be ordered for myself rather soon... love the idea behind the other versions too... i will be trying a few out...

what do you guys think of the new Boss GT-100... i have been eyeing the GT-10 for a long time but now they've released the 100.... i'm not a huge Multi FX user but would like to have one to replace my old POD 2.0 from over 10 years ago... and in general i've always liked the Boss Modelers...

has anyone bought a EVH Wolfgang? only one i tried out was the imported version and it was baddly set up and the strings buzzed on the frets... was left less then impressed so i walked out before trying a better example... The neck shape seemed quite small to me... and the frets seemed...
