    How does the 1/4lb Single Coil P compare to the Single Coil Stack, tonally? I'm looking to hook it up to a Blackouts EQ for nu metal and SoCal punk, and like the tone of the 1/4lb pickups I've played so far but I'm trying to get around the hum.

    Can the Blackouts EQ be hooked up 18V? I couldn't find any information on 9V vs 18V. Also, how well can you tone these down if you need to play other types of music?
