I'm looking for a cheap but decent condition Epiphone Les Paul Studio. I would prefer no modifications (all stock) and a newer model (2004 or newer). And a hardshell case would be a great plus! Color doesn't matter.
Please email me with pics and a price.

Just curious - I'm in the process of upgrading pretty much everything on my Les Paul Studio but I haven't looked into upgrading the bridge or the stop bar. What are my options? What do you guys use and what do you like? Is there even any reason to change these pieces out? I want to know more...
I know the 50s mod remedies this, but are there other options? I was reading in the archives about an electronics upgrade kit. What do people use (if anything) to remedy treble loss when using the volume knob to clean up your tone? What are the pros and cons of each method?
Thanks!
I'm upgrading my '93 Les Paul Studio with CTS 500K pots and using push/pull pots for the tones knobs to split each humbucker. My question is what length of shaft do I need - long or short? I opened up the back last night and I do have a plate that the pots are mounted too. Also, if I need the...
I'm putting a Jazz/JB pickup set in my Les Paul Studio and I plan to split both pickups by using a push/pull pot for the tone knobs. Which coil gets split? What are the tonal differences?
Thanks!
Can somebody point me to a resource that discusses all the different wiring techniques? I think I'm most interested in the "50's mod" but I wanted to know what else was out there. I have a Les Paul if that matters.
Thanks!
I read the FAQ section about identifying SD pickups by a number, but where is that number located? I have a JB pickup that doesn't seem to have any identifying marks at all???
I've finally decided:
I will replace the 490R/498T pickups in my Gibson Les Paul Studio with a Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB set. And I will replace my tone pots with push/pull pots to split each pickup.
Anybody have a similar setup or have experience with a similar setup - I'm curious to get some...
My go to guitar is a '93 Gibson Les Paul Studio. Right now it has the stock 490R neck and 498T bridge pickups. I can get some great tones from both. I'm considering upgrading to a Jazz neck and JB bridge. Would that be a definite improvement? And for somebody who has done this upgrade, what...
'59 or Jazz?
I'm definitely going with a JB in the bridge, but I'm undecided on the neck. I will use the neck mainly for cleans and some lead work. My guitar is a '93 Gibson Les Paul Studio w/ the ebony fretboard.
Thanks!
Are SD pickups that come stock in some guitars exactly the same as a set of aftermarket pickups? Specifically, I'm looking at the Schecter Blackjack 006. I know there are "Duncan Designed" pickups that are much cheaper, but that doesn't seem to be the case for this guitar.
Thanks!
