I liked the 59 with an A2, Pearly was cool. Motor City Black Belts (didn't like the 2nd degree tho)

I have used a Wagner Godwood, which is a 10K PaF on roids type pickup, with A2 and I thought it was great. I also use his 22K Ironman with A2 and it equally sounds great. I don't think A2 always equates to dark and muddy in good quality higher wind pickups.

I used to watch him a lot. Still can appreciate some of what he says here and there... but... more and more he just comes off as a meme to me. Most of guitar Youtube for me has gotten really stale. Ola still feels authentic. Most just come off as a sales guy for Guitar Center.

I don't like Fluence very much. Would rather have an EMG 81 personally. I didn't much like the Motor City 2nd Degree Black Belt that people raved about. Much preffered the first one. That's taste though.

I've liked my Motor City Black Belts. I believe a4 and around 8.2 on the neck, 8.4 on the bridge. Only PAF style pickups I've kept in a guitar not counting various neck pickups paired with more modern ones. They do a thing.

My A2pro has short legs, 4 conductor wiring.
