Has anyone played this set ? I'm thinking of it but I sometimes play clean (rare) .Do these clean up at all? I was thinking more of the jazz neck instead but I'd get a distortion neck if it could clean up somewhat. Thanks

Is there any duncan pups that can get close to this tone? The live cd I;m talking about and the lead tone. I just rediscovered Frank after years of not listening and always liked his tone.

What kinds of music can be played with these 2 pickups? Do either clean up better then the other ? Is 1 more extreme and less controllable? I'm leaning towards the dime I think I need a little more front end slam then the dd can offer but will I sacrifice being 1 dimensional sounding? Thanks

Any of you guys have either combo in a guitar? I'd prefer duncans buy I'm not sure if they would be better then the x2n s 2 combo.

Anybody have 2 of these in 1 axe? I was thinking it certainly would look good with the 2 blade pu but how would they sound? Maybe you could sink the neck pu in and raise the bridge so that the tone wouldn't be identical. Any thoughts?

I'm getting into the tone of the screaming for vengeance and painkiller cd's. Which would do better for that? I'm keeping the 59 neck cause I rarely use the neck pu.

I was checking out the specs on both and they are close. Same magnet (ceramic) and similar voicings . Actually according to the tone charts the sh6 seems more trebly. Anyone use both or have played both in the bridge positions at 1 time? Neck will stay 59 on this axe as its not going to be used...
