I need some new EL84's for my Classic 30. The local shop has some Mesa EL84's for a reasonable price. Thing is, they come in pairs and I need 4. Is there a problem with buying 2 pair and putting them in instead of a matched quad?

My DK-2 is fine and dandy, but I wanna move to a single sized bucker in the neck position. What would give a smoother, articulate tone with more drive? I'm not worried about loosing quack in the notch position because plenty comes between the middle and bridge. What do you guys think? Cool...
