  • Greg,

The DMM is on its way! She's all packed up with foam peanuts and everything. I checked her out before I put her in and she's working fine. Please let me know if there are any issues. Thanks!

A 1977 LP Triumph, the successor to the Recording model. Internal hi-lo Z xformer (I don't need a DI); passive high- and low-pass tone controls (no messing w/batteries); 3-way coil tap (from Olsen-twin thin to Sherri Shepard phat); short-scale with 24 frets. I got it used, and it's needed repairs since I brought it here. Nevertheless, I'm keeping it. I've used it on stage and in studio, because it's got so many cool sounds.

Gibby's ignored their basses, and that pisses me off to no end. This one is superior to any of their other models IMO.
lol! It's waiting for my first paycheck to come in to buy new brake pads/brake cylinders. Then it's waiting for the next 2 months while I save enough money to repaint it. Hell, I haven't even seen her in a month. My dad checked everything out though, and besides the brakes it's a remarkably sound car (mechanically). Whoever restored the engine did a very professional job.

Can't wait to have her this summer!

    How's the marriage going?
