  • i couldnt even tell ya where the stock pups are lol! what type of band/music? straight country or ? i have a bunch of stuff lying around or could even wind one up quick if i dont have anything that will suit ya.

yeah man, dont waste your money on a cheap guitar, get a better amp. do you have anything as far as pedals or would you even need such things? i have a route 66 pedal that ill send down too if you can use it. a tube screamer and compressor in one box. its a little beat up but works fine. i dont think ill ever use it again since it isnt true bypass and i have seperate comp and od's on my board. if i was playin in a country band i dont think id need much else.
if you need a decent guitar to use i have a black american tele rw board that needs a grind and polish, the fret job was done by a student of a lutherie class. i wouldnt sell it but if you want, ill pay ya for the work and you can keep the guitar for a while. i can put what ever type of pups in it you like so itll fit the band situation. its got to be better than the pos with the emg 81 and i havent played it in years.

its got sentmental value so ill never part with it but im sure it would be a happier guitar if it was getting played. i actually know where it is and could send it this weekend if you wanna do it.
its actually walz but my hand writing sucks :)

yeah my buddy is an idiot and sent the necks to me rather than you and he sent them to my old apt rather than my new house. i think hes been huffing rosewood dust or something. necks should be on their way, a few days behind probably. thanks buddy.

sorry it took so long. i couldnt find the necks cause they werent at my house and it took a while to track them down. then my car died and all the bs that goes with that.

lemme know how that gig works out for you, seems like a cool opportunity!
No Strat stealing!!!! Now you know what I was talking about in my thread about how I tried that one and couldn't put it down... left the Am. Dlx at the shop and left with that one.... That is one sweet Strat... Can't wait to play it now...
Just picked up the tele from the shop a few hours ago. Definitely not a heavy rock guitar. Very nice job on the nut! I am so pleased. Still a bit of ground hum but nothing that needs attending to right away.
The latest word is that my brother is not coming this weekend so I should have a couple of hours free late Saturday morning!
those 3 mandolins are nothing too special, at least not compared to my 84 Gibson F5-L. 2 are A styles, a rover and a no name, the other is an F style Savannah with a case. I can let it go for around $250 plus actual shipping if your interested. It sounds pretty decent, but it's not a Gibson by a long shot, and that's just what I use for comparison.
Very cool man. I'll look it up and line everything up and get back to you. PM me your number or something so i can call you up when it's all good to go.
I definitely don't think I have any at my shop, if we carry it. I'm an AllParts dealer tho so i can get it if they make it.
Hehe. Slotted screw kit for the nocaster is coming today. I'm gonna screw everything down and see what she looks like. I'm using some thick thread as a string and so far it looks about right. I guess the pocket isnt as loose as i thought it was. I really can't move the neck around that much.
Great, thank you. I mucked up a few frets on that new guitar I got trying to tap them down and now it's buzzing all over the place. I must have hit them too hard. I'm sick of being at the mercy of others, especially when it takes three weeks to a month to get your guitar back and then pay the bucks--which they deserve--but still.
Any advice on how to center my neck before i bolt it down...vintage style loose pocket and i have no clue if its supposed to be centered or stay to one side.
