  • never met Chris believe it or not I didn't get up to Jaco much.....

It was definitely cheaper to live but I couldn't work! that was the bummer!

Lemme know if you ever get to Florida! C U in the "book" room
AFAIK no, but as to whether they would build one today: submit a quote form to a good Jackson dealer like www.mattsmusic.com or www.themusiczoo.com and omit any references to Friedman, just submit the specs "as is". Chances are good they won´t catch it if is wasn´t a hugely popular high profile piece, and for ex. "plain" Hanneman soloists are also available that way ;)
cool! Good luck with the process.....

Yeah, I came back about three years ago, I was living there about 3-4 years trying to figure out a way to make enough to stay so I could surf everyday but finally ran out of money & had to come back and get a real job again haha! I was a great experience, tho bought a amall house in a neighborhood outside of "town" where I was the only gringo had to sell it when I left, tho....Also spend alot of time outside of Cartago in Cachi ....absolutely beautiful out there!

Didn't know if you knew stratobasterd has a coffee farm down there, too !

BTW, I'll be rooting for La Seleccion on the 14th! I was bummed the other night....tough ending!
