same, just not the highschool part. Finished that a few years ago Sitting around learning some songs for a band audition, fixing guitars for lew's fund, and waiting on surgery.
It's never gonna balance well dude -- that 500T is like twice the output of a P90.
Your best bet is gonna be embracing their differences...using one for distortion and one for clean y'know what i mean. I did this for years in my Strat...two stock Strat single coils and a Hot Rails in the bridge. Once i got the amp and pedals dialed in so that i could get mid-gain rock tones with the Strat pickups, switching to the Hot Rails was like turning on an overdrive pedal...twice as much gain and a huge boost in the mids.
Not a pair of them. Used an A5/A3 in a Phat CatN; in an SG it was a little too bright & chimey for me, but sounded fine in an LP. Using combinations of different magnets allows for fine-tuning.
the mxr delay is great! it's warm and smooth, has a great subtle modulation setting and can do some neat tricks when you mess with the time/regen. settings in real time. go out and try one, they're definitely worth checking out.
Will an SH-11 Custom Custom go well in my LTD H -100, It has a basswood body. I am looking for a stronge midrange sound, used in classic rock to classic metal.
