  • hey sorry, just saw this. once the pm's are gone they are pretty much gone. i took a quick look and didnt see anyway to get them back.

as far as the necks i dropped off the box to my buddy that works at ups with the signed paperwork but i havent talked to him since to get the tracking number. from what he said probably wednesday next week. its a big box. three necks, one guitar in hs case and the pedal. i insured it for $2k so if anything looks ****ed up take some pics.

i threw the pedal in incase you wanna use it. i like the pedal itself, sounds good easy to use etc... but since its not true bypass and its not on my pedal board i wont use it.
no idea. ill be sending them tomorrow with the tele. ill give ya the tracking # once i get it
its an older american std, nothing special but it has some pups that i wound that should work out well for ya. it doesnt have a std tele neck pup but a really heavy scatter wound strat pup with heavy formvar 42 wire. it was my friend johns first guitar back when we were 14 and i had a squier II pos. i used to lust after it and now its mine and i never play it. funny how things work.
i had it strung up with 13's tuned to open d for slide stuff then i was using it tuned down a whole step in std tuning when i was doing a trio for a while. used to have a qp tele lead and custom over wound strat pup in the neck. i left the neck at my buddy marks shop for some reason and he pulled the frets and let one of his students do a fret job. my trio broke up then turned into a four piece with a good singer so i never got around to finishing the fret job on it and so it has sat. its a decent guitar that has seen plenty of stage time over the years
ah ha! i found out where the shipping monkey is. in the hospital with the pig flu i also found my necks all boxed up and not shipped so looks like they will be coming down with the tele.

i asked why they didnt tell anyone that she was out sick and they said they didnt want people to be worried about the swine flu, they are also nice enough to leave all the stuff to be shipped in a huge pile that is getting bigger by the moment :smack: i work with some really gifted idiots
nah. ill get it out either today or tomorrow morning.
the shipping monkey is no where to be found... odd
i dropped them off to be shipped last week, ill go check with our shipping monkey to see if he has a number. i got the tele all packaged up and ready to go. same address?
nothing man. just hanging out, trying to get through the last months of high school. and broke, as always, what's going on with you?
3 hours from Houston on I-10, probably add about 90 minutes to that just to cover the extra distance from your hood and traffic. That's assuming driving at posted speed limits. :-) But early works for me, I'd rather make good use of a Friday in that case.
Sounds good! Just give me a call or text as to when and where. Maybe we can hit some pawn shops and see what's floating around. There's a couple of music stores that are fun to browse, too. One's called "Space Tone Music" and then there's "Redbone" and a primarily acoustic shop right across the street (the name escapes me at the moment).
Hey man, I joined a strat forum recently and the Squier guys over there seem to think the Bullets are nice guitars considering how cheap they are. Don't let the cheapness put you off, and I bet the EMG will clean up nicely with the tone and volume backed off a bit! :)
