Right now I'm not into some deep literature, although my Advanced Placement American Lit (MUCH better than the regular Am Lit class) is currently reading selections from Walden by H. Thoreau. It's not the most engaging read ever (I mean the whole section about his Bean Fields kinda drags) but I can see how his ideas of self-reliance and hard work shaped the "American Dream". Makes me wonder what this country would be like if the Romantics had decided to get normal jobs as sailors or carpenters!

Oye tico, no nunca he ido allí. Vengo de Estados Unidos, y México es el primer país hispanohablante que he visitado. Quizá cuando tenga más dinero conoceré a otros lugares en America Latina, pero ya no.
