  • Hi Frank,

I read one of your post were you said JB and Classic Stack is a good HSS combo. Have you tried the new YJM Fury Neck along with a JB Bridge? Is the output balanced when clean? Are JB and YJM Fury neck good partners when playing metal or will one of them sound less distorted or saturated than the other? What are good bridge options to pair with the YJM Fury Neck?

Thanks in advance for your comments
Yeh, you're right. Just wish there was an easier way to put the TS rings on my "cheap" guitars. But it's really not such a big deal to fill the holes in my guitars and redrill for the TS. The good thing is, now Gibson rings will fit my Epi too. ha ha.

    Thanks, Frank.
    Frank,
I certainly understand the dilemma with a lack of unity among the various guitar brands. The only guitars I've mounted the Triple Shots on were a 2005 Epi LP Classic, a 2006 Epi LP Ultra, tried it on a 2006 Epi SG Custom (I only have the TS for arch tops so this didn't work, of course), tried it on one other guitar but I can't remember which right now. But in all of them, the hole-spacing in the TS was too short.
    Hey Frank,
Maybe you can explain why the Tripple Shots have the mounting holes spaced incorrectly...they are too close together in the long dimention. I've had to fill-in and redrill the mounting holes in every guitar that I have put them in. The reason I'm sending this to you is that there is a post in the Pickup Lounge complaining about this problem. I have to agree, it is a problem.
hiii...i,m aulia from indonesia..i,m SD fans..my own SD TT mayhem now in trouble, when i push on the pedal, its produced very little sound and when i turn up the volume there's nothing happen and sound like sssshhhhhh coming..can u explain why it going wrong??imposible to me to send back my mayhem to USA,so i got local technician and he told me the transwitching system is broken so the tubes cant get the proper power to work..is it true?there any problems with the tubes?he checked the tubes and its ok..plz help me..coz i love this pedals so much...thanks for ur help...
I also meant to include the Custom Stack Plus too...not sure which I'd prefer in the bridge just yet. Thanks again for any help you can provide in hearing them. :)
    Hi Frank,

I have a new Carvin Bolt coming this week, and I sure would love to hear what a Vintage Hot/Classic/Hot combo of Stack Plus pickups sounds like, because I hardly ever like stock pickups. I've looked just about everywhere online but no luck yet. If you know of any samples I'd love the opportunity to hear them. TIA! :)
Mr. Falbo, I just wanted to commend you , and the rest of the SD team, For yuor great pickups and other products. I generaly just use SD pickups, because for the tone, they just can't be beat. Thanks!!!
    hello Mr Falbo
if you have time could you possibly take another look at that A2 demon thread?
i'm torn between sticking with the demon or trying both screw coils from a JB and DDn in a hybrid and would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reply to hss ibanez question your the only one that chimed in. Being new i was hoping to recieve a lil more input on combinations for hss.I called duncan and they suggested trying all three screamin demons.Confused
I'm currently building a guitar that I'd like to install triple shots on, but I'd also like to have metal pickup bezels if possible. I know these aren't currently offered, but would it be possible to order a set of metal-frame triple shots from the custom shop?

    Thanks
    awesome, thanks

(your PMs are full, so i figured i'd respond on here instead)
    Hey Frank,
Can you check your PMs next time youre on here? Theres a couple that have been waiting for you
    Thanks!
thanks bro, you solved a problem that has been bugging me ever time i picked up my axe.
    super thanks!
reverse black and green. i would of never thought of it.
Hi Frank, not sure if it is ok to pm you with questions, but here goes.

I have a pickup booster pedal that I would like to modify to become a cut and boost pedal. I came across this from another thread on the site:

I like Seymour Duncan's philosophy of having true bypass wherever possible, because it assures that our product is never part of the problem. But then when I demo the pedalboard with 8 or more pedals strung together, even though our pedals are not the problem, the cable length is part of the problem. That's when I like a buffered Wah up front, or I leave the Pickup Booster on minimum gain. Actually I modified one with a 50k reverse audio taper pot instead of the 25k pot, (which anyone can do) and it actualy goes down to about 3dB at the lowest setting.

I know nothing about electronics and I'm having a wild guess that maybe a 200k reverse audio pot will allow the pedal to cut the output ?
    Hails Frank
    How are yah?
please, give me a valid email adress, so i could send my doubts about the blackout to you?!?!
    JP
    Thanks in advance.
