  • I cant remember off the top of my head right now all what tubes you had in your arsenal. My initial thinking is do you have a 9th gen chinese you can try in v2? But if you dont I think trying the TS in V2 is worth a shot. The PI isnt as tonally picky on what tube is there so long as its a good tube. Let me know how it comes out.
how am i just now seeing this?? Sorry about that man. Anyway, I love my D60. best head ive owned. I had a Mesa Recto and a marshall cab, and I sold both to get the D60 as well as a VHT Fatbottom 4x12. Its the best combo for any distortion sound IMO, that I've tried. Only downside is, without an Overdrive, your stuck with one sound. Dial one in that you like, and Rock! unless you have ridiculously fast switching abilities. You could in theory flip the More or Less switch on the amp, but there's a volume difference. I run it thru an ABY box with a Twin Reverb. Awesome, awesome setup
Yup...I've still got it. $500 shipped CONUS via Paypal gift (or regular paypal and you pay the 3% fee) and it's yours...

    It's a killer sounding amp

    Let me know,
    Paige
you guys look like you've got it goin' on... I'm gonna have to check out your myspace later...
Return the Ransom is a rock n' roll band that formed in the fall of 2008. The Pittsburgh based five member band is made up of Vocalist: Chris Novak, Lead Guitarist: John Grego, Rhythm Guitarist: Matt Walluk, Bassist: "Rockin’" Randy Rowser, and Drummer: Jerode Habas.

The band fuses a blend of Novak’s relentless artistic expression, the tasty grooves of Rowser’s bass lines and the dynamic percussion and rhythmic undertow of Habas. Mix in the nuances of Walluk’s abrupt rhythmic guitar work combined with the subtle intricacies of Grego’s high energy guitar solos and you have the makings of a modern rock band.

Having musical roots deeply embedded in all forms of rock music; Return The Ransom creates a style that utilizes a mixture of original and cover songs with the utmost commercial appeal. With roaring guitars, thought-provoking lyrics and melodic choruses, “RTR” and will leave you wanting more.
