    OMG
    yessss.
    dude.
i used to spend whole days in the summer watching mythbusters with my cousin who was living with me at the time. Kari Byron was ingrained into my childhood. xD

i slept maybe a total of twenty hours last week.
Christmas break might be spent in hibernation. xD
Oh haha because I felt bad about the whole pick situation and was going to get you some but then I realized you work in friggin GC....you can get those for way cheaper (or for free) than I can find them online.
Yeah there were some cool guys, but overall it wasn't a very good fit for me. I could see even during my very brief stint there that the company doesn't treat the employees very well, and the new commissions system proved that. Even though most of the guys really know their ****, there's still a lot of sales BS - they tend to steer you too much. Part of me doesn't blame them, 'cause they've gotta earn a living, but it doesn't benefit the customer very much.
I was actually in Ops. Working the desk wasn't that bad, although I did have to deal with a fair few unpleasant people, both employees and customers.
It wasn't the best gig in the world though. Most of the other guys were too jaded or didn't give a **** 'bout nobody. One was a particularly nasty combination of the two, along with a more-than-healthy dose of cynicism and sarcasm. Plus he thought that if it wasn't Bogner or Gibson it didn't deserve the time of day. :P
And it didn't help that he hated me for some reason. I don't know about you but I can't stand it when people hate you for things you can't control - like being young and inexperienced, and excited to work at Guitar Center lol. I gotta say that the excitement wore off pretty quick.
Lol I didn't even notice the notification
Yeah, I quit after a month. My (parent's) car has like 180k miles on it, and I was adding an extra 240 a week. Plus when I was at work it left my mom without a car. I got about a grand from my month, but it went towards school stuff, much as I would have loved to use it for guitar stuff. I literally have less than a dollar in my bank account.
