the bridge on mine also sucks. mine is probably the least favorite of my guitars actually, ive just never been able to get the right sound out of it. plays fine, just havent found the right pickups yet (and ive had a bunch in there). i keep mine at my parents' house so i have something there to play when i visit. haha

i just noticed your gear list in your sig...

we both have viper-300s
we both have EMGs in them
we both have XXX combos
we both have EL34s in them

...creepy. haha

thats the kinda thing that inspires me to make clips and get the best example of a pickup in action, doing rock and metal of course.

franknfilms you should totally get the Ultra-G, i would love to have someone who also uses it so i can compare tones and progress using it.
its great except for the highs are eq'd like a simulated 4x12, so you have to over compensate them to come back to life. doing that has been a tricky process for me, still having troubles maybe you can figure it out better than me
