  • pickups for my les paul

after comparing my les paul classic to a few of my friends lp's, ive noticed mine sounds thin. i was considering replacing the pickups, but i wasent sure of what to use. i heard realy good things about the seth lovers, but there upotted and i think i might have feedback problems. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    its a les paul classic 3 pickup model 500t 496r/496r through a marshall dsl 100 with a 1960av 4/12

For just a bridge and neck combo- JB/Jazz- very versitile, used by many, many people, great for most styles

Custom/59- also good combo, good for rock/metal/blues/jazz and whatever else

For three- I don't know how three 59s would sound but it's a neat idea. You might wanna check that out.

    Anyone agree with me?

    Peace, guys.

Sounds pretty cool, but I might go JB or C5- Bridge, then 59, 59. Just to get a little more firepower in the Bridge. Also, you could go JB or C5, 59, jazz. That might be interesting.
