Re: It's that time again. How many guitars do you own now?

I think I am at 20 or so, its Seymour's fault, too many pickup models!

    Order of preference....

    1. U.S. Jacksons (2 DK1s, 1 Soloist)
    2. U.S. Parkers (1 original, 1 "refined" Mojo flame top, 1 5-string bass)
    3. U.S. Strat Deluxe
    4. Peavey V-Types (1 original signature model, 1 American Re-issue, 1 Korean import)
    5. MIJ Charvels (2 Model A+, 2 Model As, 1 Traditional)
    6. MIJ Jackson DK2S - got to have a Sustainiac in at least one guitar...
    7. 2 U.S. Ovations
    8. One of those Washburn blow-out model 7 strings
    9. 1 Ibanez Korean 4 string bass - its a good beater

....oh yeah, and 1 U.S. Hamer Chaparral Elite from '89 - it sits in a glass case, my ex-wife destroyed the first one I had.....

Gearjoneser, now that you've demonstrated that wicked arsenal, do you play all of your axes?? Just asking
I play all of them randomly, but the guitars I consider my 'main guitars' are
The LP Goldtop and honeyflame, blue and SB strats, teal black McCarty, and Martin D-28. I play everything or sell it if it doesn't get used.....as a matter of fact, I'll probably sell my Schecter Tele and G&L Legacy this year.
I'll need to make room for the Fender 52 Hot Rod Tele I want.

I'm signed with a production company doing music for cartoon pilots, so I write off my guitars as business expenses as well. Same with FX. If it gets used once, it's tax deductible!

I mentioned one electric I'd like to get sold. It's on the block for the simple reason that I don't play it. My 12 string doesn't get nearly enough playing time. Otherwise, the rest get played, obviously some more than others.

However, sometimes I think I'll pick up a guitar because I feel guilty that I had neglected it. It's a nasty addiction... I've got more than I really need or know what to do with, but **** if I don't love guitars.

Seriously. My car was stuck in the middle of summer with a broken AC unit and a driver's side window that didn't roll down. Did I get either of those fixed? Hell no! I bought a Mesa/boogie Mark IV instead!
Serious, is anything more Rock-n-Roll then that statement?!

Just as my sig says: Epi lp custom with jb jazz set
                    Carvin dc135t (stock for now)
                    Agile al2800 with ZW set
                    Larivee lv03 acoustic electric
CIJ Fender strat 57 RI (in shipping)

I plan on buying a tele sometime in the near future and maybe another acoustic, but I do love my larivee a lot so I dunno.

Truthfully only my SG and alvarez acoustic are playable right now, but shortly my mim will be up and running with a crazy 8 bridge and I will have a tele project done. Those are going to be some good times, as I still got this feeling the tele is going to surpass all others.

I'm buying them so other people can't "relic" them........

Well if the wife ask, I have two....

However, if I did own more than two, the list would look strangely similar to this.

                            Fender Hwy 1 Strats (2)
                            Fender Strat Plus

                            Ibanez Custom RG (2)
                            Ibanez Custom PGM (3)
                            Ibanez RG 750 (for sale)
                            Washburn N2
